Salon Project is taking chamber music back to the salon, playing the sort of music that people back in the day would have enjoyed in their homes amongst their closest companions – inspiring conversation and camaraderie in an intimate setting.

Internationally acclaimed mezzo-soprano Sally-Anne Russell joins Salon Project for a beguiling concert of Songs and Dances. In the first half of the concert, orchestral instruments get their chance to shine alongside the human voice in heart-stirring songs from Bernstein, Schubert, Berlioz, Massenet, Britten and Strauss. In the second half, they’ll get your toes tapping when their instruments dance to the rousing tunes of Edwards, Granados, Mompou, de Falla, and Bartok.
