A rare and spectacular event sponsored by Kayserburg Pianos, this unique concert unites long-time colleagues and friends and popular Melbourne pianists Gina Gataveckaite, Tristan Lee, Coady Green and Christopher Smith.
The repertoire for two pianos eight hands is virtuosic and dazzling, and here the pianists present Saint-Saëns’ popular Danse macabre with Glazunov’s own arrangement of his sweeping orchestral poem La Mer, with Liszt’s rousing Rakoczy March and, for the first time in this arrangement in Australia, the masterpiece that is Tchaikovsky’s Fourth Symphony Opus 36.
These pianists have enthusiastic followings and the concert is bound to sell out quickly!
Be part of the limited live audience at the venue: $40
Livestream at home: $25 (Sunday 18 July 3pm AEST)
