The flowers and plants that I chose to paint spoke to me on a personal level, symbolizing the months of lockdown, and a celebration of the beauty that only nature can produce.
The past two years saw me, like most Melbournians, confined to my home. Several kilometres of concrete sidewalks were traversed on my daily walks. It was here, passing by the neighbourhood gardens that I found solace in the colours and shapes of flowers that I observed. The flowers and plants that I chose to paint spoke to me on a personal level, symbolizing the months of lockdown, and a celebration of the beauty that only nature can produce.
