No longer a man in a hurry

ACTORS are used to playing many different roles, no matter how far from their own personalities. But Samuel Johnson is rehearsing for a role he says contains uncanny echoes of his own life.

”I was born to play this role,” he says, referring to his part in Brendan Cowell’s hit debut play Men. ”It’s a very personal thing for me but I’m finding it cathartic to channel my own situation into something else.”……”
