Pompeii, LA

A car-wreck on Hollywood Freeway, a former child star trapped inside. On a sound-stage somewhere the lights are dimming, the credits are rolling, and a volcano is bubbling – ready to explode.

POMPEII, L.A. is a surreal, bitter paean to the fall of the American Empire, prolapsing images of fame, fear, and mass annihilation.

Director: Matthew Lutton

Cast: David Harrison, Natasha Herbert, Luisa Hastings Edge, Luke Ryan and Greg Stone.

Pompeii, LA is part of Flashpoint, rehearsed readings of winning scripts from The R.E. Ross Trust Playwrights’ Script Development Awards.
