The Australian Book Review’s Elizabeth Jolley Short Story Prize is one of Australia’s leading prizes for an original short story. It honours the work of the great Australian writer Elizabeth Jolley (1923–2007).

The winner of this year’s Jolley Prize will be announced at a ceremony in our theatre on Monday 20 August. Readings from each of the three shortlisted stories will precede the announcement. The shortlisted stories will be published in full in the August Fiction Issue of ABR (on sale 1 August), copies of which will be available to purchase at the event.
