Misseu is a Melbourne-based experimental design studio working across lighting and object design. Specialising in the medium of glass, Misseu is an evolving practice sitting at the intersection between art and design. Drawing on future sensibilities, Misseu plays with contrasting forms and materiality, juxtaposing components that create a sense of harmony. Taking inspiration from traditional manufacturing techniques, their methods are modified and adapted to modern interpretation, allowing them to push the boundaries of the medium whilst also embracing its inherent properties. Through careful research, experimentation and observation each piece is crafted by hand, no two ever the same.
