12 Greenroom nominations

A heartfelt congratulations to all the 2009 Greenroom nominees.

We are delighted that three productions seen at fortyfivedownstairs in 2009 have received nominations.

Bryant and Frank’s Once We Lived Here received 5 nominations, all in the Music Theatre section;
+ Female Artist in a Leading Role: Esther Hannaford  for her role as Amy
+ Artist in a Featured Role:  Sally Bourne for her role as Claire
+ Artist in a Featured Role: Christie Whelan for her role as Lucy
+ Costume and/or Set Design:  Micka Agosta  for his set design
+ New Australian Musical:  Once We Lived Here – Bryant and Frank Productions

Bagryana Popov’s Progress and Melancholy received 6 nominations in the Independent Theatre section;
+ Production:  Progress and Melancholy
+ Direction: Bagryana Popov
+ Female Performer: Natasha Herbert for her role as Ranyevskaya
+ Male Performer: Todd Macdonald for his role as Lopahin
+ Design: Adrienne Chisholm for her set design
+ Lighting: Richard Vabre

Actor Anne Browning received a nomination in the Female Performer category for her role as Dianne Keaton in Declan Green’s A Black Joy.
