Scott is created from a photograph taken in conjunction with the subject, with the intention of capturing the stoic side of acro-artist Scott McDonald. Using the alla prima process in portraits tends to depict what is taken in and is memorable at the time. Even though a clear planned approach in terms of tone and feature hierarchy had been previously determined. It is exciting and authentic to portrait without the reliance on the notion that tomorrow it can be altered.
