Shot as part of a series commenting on man’s impact on the natural environment, ‘hands all over’ challenged us to think about how plastics could be reused or recycled. Since creating the work, Australia has lived through its worst bushfire season on record and now finds itself dealing with the health, social and economic impacts of a global pandemic. One of the industries impacted most profoundly has been the arts. This work serves as a reminder that as artists, as Australians, and as human beings our ability to bounce back and to act as a catalyst for change is needed now more than ever.
