The work moves between the surreal and absurd exploring universal human themes of memory and dreams\, their fragility\, transience and power. Like a dream itself\, White Day Dream recalls subconscious emotions\, where things are at once unexpectedly linked and disconnected. \n\n\n\n\n\nWeave Movement Theatre is an ambitious and diverse Melbourne-based hybrid dance and theatre performance company\, comprised of people with and without disabilities. The company formed in 1997 through an Arts Access Victoria project and continues today developing high quality performances. Weave Movement Theatre’s work subverts audience’s expectations\, and challenges conventional ways of seeing dance and disability. They present a distinctive and progressive model for inclusive dance performance. \n…wildly surreal visual theatre…. Wonder and weirdness\, humour and unexpected poignancy…’ \n‘…fragments of creative inspiration you won’t find anywhere else.’ The Age \n‘…a riveting and gloriously successful show…’ Stage Whispers \nWhite Day Dream was supported Creative Vic\, City of Melbourne\, City of Moreland\, City of Darebin and was performed at fortyfivedownstairs in 2016. \n\n\n\n\n\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Cast & Creatives” tab_id=”1635205723269-181edff2-21a9″][vc_column_text]Direction and Choreography by Yumi Umiumare\n\nComposition and Sound Design by Dan West\n\nStage and Costume Design by Jennifer Tran\n\nLighting Design by Richard Vabre\n\nMedia Art by Bambang N Karim \nVideographer Alta Truden\nAssistant Videographer Lindesay Dresdon\n\nPerformed by Emma J Hawkins\, Willow J Conway\, Tim Crafti\, David Baker\, Trevor Dunn\, Janice Florence\, Melanie Keely\, Greg Muir\, Ryan New\, Emma Norton\, Leisa Prowd and Anthony Riddell\n\nWeave Artistic Director Janice Florence[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Ticket Prices and Concessions” tab_id=”1452941768731-94b426f3-57530201-342dcb0a-2ec9a177-581a2513-a5c51f1f-8993a3c4-5ca5cb85-3d54189f-4d6f8ba6-b9f17132-6986″][vc_column_text]\nTICKET PRICES:\n  \nwatch at home: $20 \n  \nNO BOOKING FEE SURCHARGE[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][/vc_tta_tabs][vc_empty_space]watch at home [/vc_column][/vc_row]
