Leslie has lived and worked for most of his life in Munich\, Germany. Born in Sydney in 1943\, he studied first at Sydney Conservatorium of Music and then Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Munich. Michael has performed extensively across Europe and internationally\, amongst those many orchestral performances as well as radio and television appearances in Australia\, Germany\, and the UK. He has taught at the Royal Academy of Music and Drama\, Glasgow\, the Yehudi Menuhin School\, Cobham\, Surrey\, and the Hochschule für Musik und Theater\, Munich. The Institute for Enquiring Minds is excited to present Michael Leslie performing J. S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations. I have loved staring at the photos while I practise. The process has been a complete two way collaboration with me playing to Pia while she tries various options.
