Abbott and Kouvaras have gifted us with innovative\, engaging\, and powerful settings of poetry by Chris Wallace Crabbe\, Diane Fahey\, Bronwyn Bartal and Kouvaras herself. Mezzo-soprano Linda Barcan and pianist Coady Green give voice to words and music that wittily and movingly captures key life moments\, from making the bed to mourning lost love\, from a gentle lullaby to unjust imprisonment. \nProgram: \n\nKaty Abbott: Glisten for solo piano\nLinda Kouvaras: Art and Life: a song cycle for high female voice and piano\n\n\nSleeping Girl \nLullaby \nWoman’s Predicament\nParty Lines and Deaf Ears\nArt and Life\nDistant Lullaby\n\nInterval \n\nLinda Kouvaras: Shoalhaven Nightpainters for solo piano\nKaty Abbott: The Domestic Sublime for soprano and piano\n\n\nOn the Surface of Things\nIndoor Yachting\nCoat Hangers Galore\nSaucer\nGarlic\nAt the Clothesline\n\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Artists” tab_id=”1452941644640-19a0de81-e87a0201-342dcb0a-2ec9a177-581a2513-a5c51f1f-8993a3c4-5ca5cb85-3d54189f-4d6f8ba6-b9f130e4-8df3″][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Ticket Prices and Concessions” tab_id=”1452941768731-94b426f3-57530201-342dcb0a-2ec9a177-581a2513-a5c51f1f-8993a3c4-5ca5cb85-3d54189f-4d6f8ba6-b9f130e4-8df3″][vc_column_text]\nTicket Prices:\nFull: $35\nConcession: $25\nGroup 8+: $25 \nConcessions:\nPensioners/Full-time students/MEAA members \nNO BOOKING FEE SURCHARGE[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][/vc_tta_tabs][vc_empty_space]Buy Tickets [/vc_column][/vc_row]
