Commemorating the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and created, literally, in the settling dust of the September 11 Trade Center attacks.
The Melbourne premiere of Anne Nelson’s real-life story, The Guys, follows the story of Nick (Adam T Perkins), a New York fire captain, who is randomly introduced to Joan (Roz Hammond), a journalist. Twelve days after the event, over a life-changing afternoon in Brooklyn, Joan helps Nick find the strength and words to write eulogies for the eight men he lost on the morning of September 11, 2001.
‘’The call came in…The Guys went out”…The rest is history.
