SMALL! Terms and Conditions

• SMALL! is open to everyone.
• There are no age restrictions.
• Artworks must be 20 x 20cm x 20 cm/8” x 8” x 8” or under, including any framing.
• Artworks must be able to be affixed to the wall.
• Up to two pieces per submission.
• Cost of $25 to submit one artwork, $40 to submit two. To be paid online at the time of submission. This is non-refundable.
• Submissions must be made online.
• Artworks must be delivered to the gallery by Friday 14 November, 5pm. It is the artist’s responsibility to ensure that the artwork(s) are delivered by the due date. Artworks not delivered by the due date will not be included in the exhibition, and artists will not be eligible for refunds.
• Artworks must be labelled on the reverse with artist name, artwork title, and hanging orientation. Artwork packaging must also be labelled with the artist name and artwork title.
• Artworks will be displayed anonymously.
• Artworks must be available for sale. No presales.
• All works will be priced at $150 each – artists receive $120, fortyfivedownstairs will retain $30 as commission.
• Two works by the same artist purchased by a single buyer will be sold for a discount of $250- artists receive $200, fortyfivedownstairs will retain $50 as commission.
• Unsold works will be discounted to $120 from Tuesday 16 December – Thursday 18 December – artists receive $96, fortyfivedownstairs will retain $24 as commission.
• Prices are GST inclusive if the artist is GST registered.
• Entrants submit their work with the knowledge that they are committing to the below dates:

• In the event that unsold artworks are not collected on these dates and prior arrangements with fortyfivedownstairs have not been made, they will be disposed of.

• fortyfivedownstairs reserves the right to withdraw artworks if deemed unsuitable for display.
• Artworks on paper will be pinned.
• Original artwork packaging may not be kept.
• Due care will be taken whilst the artworks are at fortyfivedownstairs.
• No responsibility will be taken by fortyfivedownstairs for any loss or damage.
• Artists of unsold works who cannot collect their works in person are expected to pay for postage at the when submitting. Return postage is only available to locations within Australia.
• No refunds.
