Step into the awe inspiring and intimate splendour of a 1600s candle-lit playhouse as Alexandra Aldrich unveils the first iteration of her radical, female-centric reimagining of John Ford’s wildly controversial work ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore.
An exploration of classic text, physical theatre, live opera, outrageous historically inspired fashion, and an opulent yet haunting reflection of our current world lit entirely by flame.
Take a rare glimpse into a work partway through its creation – as our concepts and designs for a company dedicated to bringing reframed classic texts to life by candlelight comes together for the very 1st time!
