⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ “Haynes has done a fine job drawing us into Strindberg’s contemporary den of iniquity and not letting go.” – The Blurb
Power, sex, and class combust in the heat of a Melbourne kitchen.
On the eve of Greek Easter, the daughter of a wealthy restaurateur locks horns with a brooding sous-chef after hours. As the lamb roasts and the ouzo flows, desire and ambition boil over.
Recent graduate Annalise Gelagotis makes her professional debut as Julie, starring alongside acclaimed Broadway leading man Adam-Jon Fiorentino (Mary Poppins, Saturday Night Fever) and two-time Green Room Award nominee Izabella Yena.
In this audacious reimagining of Strindberg’s Miss Julie, directed by Harry Haynes (founder and Artistic Director of The Liminal Space), the classic is torn from its 19th-century roots and reborn in the pressure-cooker of modern fine dining, where old hierarchies die hard and nothing stays simmering for long.
A collision of Mediterranean rituals, Australian ambition, and the raw ache of longing.
For a full immersive experience, dining experience tickets (ticket price includes seeing the show) offer the chance to experience Miss Julie alongside a curated menu. This exclusive Greek inspired meal and wine pairing led by Masterchef Alumni and celebrity chef Conor Curran (@creamy_confusion) brings the world of the play to life through taste, aroma, and atmosphere, and includes a dessert by Niki Louca from My Greek Kitchen (@mygreekkitchen). Please check the Dining experience menu tab for more information. Patrons requiring a vegetarian option must notify us upon purchase of tickets via [email protected].

Without support, we risk losing artists or having to close our doors. We do hope for your understanding!
