Bain’s interest in fractal geometry and playful experimentation transform the current map of Melbourne into anthropomorphic conversations of form and effect. Presented in abstract and naturalistic stylings, these two dimensional re-interpretations are the result of the artist’s ongoing efforts to reorientate herself within a new city.
